STREET COCAINE
in the form of white powder
produced by combining a paste from coca leaves with HCl acid -> produces a salt
can be sniffed or snorted (slow absorption) -> add water solution for injection (likely to overdose)
FREEBASE COCAINE
a mixture of street cocaine and ether highly flammable smoked-> inhaled vapor absorbed quickly gives an intense but short high
CRACK COCAINE
AKA base
since it is flammable -> disolve cocaine in baking soda, boil of the water, when boiling off the water it makes a cracking sound
