Who were the United Empire Loyalists?
They wanted the Thirteen Colonies to stay loyal to Britain. Many of the Loyalists had British ancestors. They were pushed out of their homes by the Patriots and left for Canada.

People who wanted to remain loyal to Britain
What is representative government?
A type of government in which one person is representing a group of people.
