Operations

Officers who manage day to day operations of the agency

Personnel involved in communications (e.g. taking calls for service and directing officers)

Police structure is organized along military lines, which have a chain of command where lines of authority are clearly defined
Chain of Command

Emphasizes collaboration and partnership between law enforcement agencies and the community
