Acne cysts
Infection filled posture resulting in skin tissue damage.contains P. acne bacteria, dead skin cells, lymph fluid and white blood cells
Acne excoriation
Deep tissue damage that has resulted from the acne client attempting to relieve their own acne cysts. This damage can be caused by fingernails (half moon scarring) or improper use of extraction implements
Bioavailability
The degree to which a substance becomes available to the target tissue
Contraindication
Any prior procedure, medication, illness, event or personal habit that prohibits a procedure
Chemical peel consent form
A document signed by the skin care therapist and the clients that outlines the potential chemical peel side effects, the proper home care, and expected outcomes of the procedure
