What is subsistence farming?
Producing enough to meet the needs of the family.

When larger amounts of crops are produced to make a profit.

Farms in New England were smaller than those in the South.

What is the triangular trade?
The Triangular Trade was a system in which slaves, crops, and manufactured goods were traded between Africa, the Caribbean, and the American colonies.
