Magnanimous/Magnanimity
this adjective means “extremely generous and forgiving” and, more
generally, “courageously noble in mind and heart.( Even though Karna is portrayed as a magnanimous person he too had his shortcomings.)
Parsimonious/Parsimony
opposite of magnanimous, excessively stingy ( The amount of parsimony my dadu has is unimaginable.)
Prodigal/Prodigality
adjective means “extremely wasteful” or “extravagant.” It can also be used
to mean “lavishly abundant” ( I have seen the prodigal students coming in Bullets and thars to college.)
Penurious/penury
“stingy, unwilling to spend money” and “poverty-stricken or
destitute” ( As a child i always thought of showing off my wealth in a penurious neighborhood, don’t ask me why.)
Frugal
“thrifty.” Someone who
is frugal is extremely economical ( My tauji is so frugal that he used to force his kids to use shampoo sachets in order to save money.)
Munificent/ Munificence
“very generous in giving.” ( My father is really munificent when it comes to helping his relatives, which can lowkey back fire too.)
Avaricious / Cupidity
“greedy” or “desirous of gain.” “to want something too
much.” (Avaricious buri bala hai)
Mean
“nasty
and disagreeble,” “miserly and stingy” or “low in value.” ( Due to the great government of India many people still have mean livehlihood in many states.)
