Drinking too much for too long
Problems: brain damage, disorientation, lack of insight, apathy all because of vitamin differency
BRAINS INTERPRETATION:
1) primary appraisal
2) secondary appraisal
Primary appraisal: is that situation harmful? Challenging? Threatening?
Secondary appraisal: chose a coping method
People who are able to cope better are:
-people who exercise, have social skills, social support, control, material resources and a sense of humor
