- guides movement towards or away form stimuli
- relay station where information goes to. If anything happens here then we will have issues communicating visually and auditorily.

- highest level of brain (literally and figuratively)
- controls complex cognitive, emotional, sensory and motor functions

- controls all visual information
- you can activate it without looking at something

- Above your ears ( activates auditory )

- Senses of touch
- area is relevant tells you how sensitive that part really is.
