Strings of connected fungus cells in the form of slender filaments barely visible with the naked eye.
Hypha/hyphae
The walls dividing one fungi cell from another.
Septa/Septum
Distinct types of cells with a common structure and function.
Tissues
Specialized structures with specific functions. Made up by tissues.
Organs
Various organs that carry out major body functions.
Organ systems
A group of specialized cells transport water and dissolved nutrients.
Vascular tissue
Animals that lack a backbone.
Invertebrates
Animals with a backbone.
Vertebrates
