Q

Evaluate social learning theory as an explanation of aggression?

A

Strengths:
Bandura’s 1961 study supports social learning theory because he found children copy aggression
Many tragedies e.g school shootings linked to TV and video games
Weaknesses:
Aggressive children might watch the aggressive shows
Many children watch violence but don’t copy it
