because youth crime wasn’t really a thing back then so we only have records of adult crime, youth crime would sometimes be in the newspaper
Why did the state decide to intervene in youth crime at the end of the 19th century
because youth delinquency was emerging because of parents both working and leaving kids unattended, which made them deprived and leads to stealing/ being out in the streets
