Scientific study of the structure, composition, changes that matter undergoes and its properties.

Substance made of atoms that are two or more different elements that are also combined together chemically.
What is a molecule?
Smallest unit of a substance that keeps all of its physical and its chemical properties.
What is a chemical formula?
Set of chemical symbols and numbers to stand for a substance.
What is a mixture?
Two or more substances put together that aren’t combined chemically.
What is a heterogeneous mixture?
The mixture isn’t the same throughout and are not evenly distributed.
What is a homogeneous mixture?
The miss true is the same throughout and the components are evenly distributed.
What does miscible me?
Miscible substances can be mixed.
What is does mean immiscible?
Immiscible liquids can’t be mixed together.
