Q

CPU

A

Central Processing unit
two compontents
1. ALU (arithmetic logic unit)
- Does math and compares units (,+,=,-)

2.CU (control unit)
• Tells the computer where to send output
• Some have more than one processer

Q

Internal Memory

A

o Random Access Memory (RAM)

•Stores temporary data and info
       •Volatile memory
       •	Cache ram
o	Stores recently used memory, so the processor does not have to wait for the memory to transfer
o	Read Only Memory (ROM)
•	Non volatile
•	Responsible for starting computer
