Domain consisting of unicellular prokaryotes that have cell walls that do not contain peptidoglycan; corresponds to the kingdom Archaeabacteria
Archaea
Domain consisting of all organisms that have a nucleus; includes plants, Protists, fungi, and animals
Eukarya
Complex carbohydrates that makes up the cell walls of fungi; also found in the external skeletons of Arthropods
Chitin
One of many long, slender filaments that makes up the body of a fungus
