Hundredth Meridian

An area of coastline where a river flows into the sea, mixing salt and fresh water

“Not in my backyard,” everyone wants to find a situation to the problem of nuclear waste, but nobody wants it buried near them

The philosophy that advocates the rule of behavior, “if it works, its good.”
Light-rail metropolitan transit
Within-city public transportation via subway, monorail, streetcar, or some other small railroad line
Greenhouse Effect
A cause of the warming of the Earth’s climate, a result of the burning of fossil fuels for energy
