Explain the double ABCX model of family crisis?
- examines families over time
- includes coping
- describes adaptation instead of crisis
How does the double ABCX model of family crisis work?
aA=pile up -initial stressor -normative transitions -prior strains -impact of coping bB=existing and new resources cC=definition over time Coping=what family does to manage stressor xX=adaptation
