- At least 6 months sexual fantasies about nonliving objects or nongenital body parts
- Causes significant distress or dysfunction
- Not limited to clothing or devices used for sexual stimulation
DSM criteria for Pedophilic Disorder
- At least 6 months sexual fantasies about prepubescent child
- Person has acted on these urges or the urges cause marked distress
- Person is at least 16 and 5 years older than child
Etiology of rape
- Antisocial or impulsive personality traits
- Hostility towards women
- Distorted beliefs about sexual coercion
- Sadistic traits or hypersexuality
DSM criteria for Voyeuristic disorder
- At least 6 months sexual fantasies about watching unsuspecting others who are naked or having sex
- Person has acted on these urges or they cause distress
