Theory of Emotion- James Lange Theory
proposes that our emotional experiences are the result of our bodily reactions to external stimuli, theory suggests we first perceive stimulus, which triggers physiological response and then we interpret this bodily response as an emotion *** Emotion is based on physiological responce

Physiological response- the external stimulus or event simultaneously activates the body's physiological response ***you would experience the feeling of fear at the same time
