The best method for delivering a persuasive business presentation is speaking from carefully prepared cue cards. The cue cards should contain key sentences and major ideas. By preparing and practising with cue cards, the speaker can talk to the audience in a conversational manner. Moreover, the text says that the cue cards should contain phrases that help the speaker introduce each major idea. Cue cards will keep the speaker on track and prompt his or her memory but only if the presentation has been thoroughly rehearsed.
