American system
Was originally called the American way and was taught in schools that tariffs, a national bank, and federal use of road ways were best for the country. These were obviously views from Alexander Hamilton.
Internal improvements
Public works such as roads, railways, bridges etc.
Corrupt Bargain
When one political leader agrees to put the other leader into a placement of power in the government if the other does what he says

Tariff of abominations
The tariff of 1828 was made to save northern industries and was called the tariff of abominations because the southerners didn’t benefit from this economically

Jackson promised all the Indians that if they gave up there land east of the Mississippi River that they and their children will always have land no matter what.
Trail of tears
They gathered 14,000 thousand Indians and made them march to the “red mans country”. 3,000 died due to starvation and exposure.

Once the new states starting revising their constitutions they limited the power of the government of their economy
Whigs
Democracy and Jackson’s tumultuous presidency sparked the creation in the mid-1830s. They competed for votes and appealed to different cultural groups.
Panic of 1837
The British stopped funding southern manufacturing so that caused many to pull gold out of banks and eventually led to an economic downfall during the workers movement
