How do we know from the Bible that the concept of unclean meats was not only for the Jews?
The concept existed before the Flood. Noah’s ark had 2 unclean and 7 clean animals.

- Clean- beef, lamb, goat
- Unclean- Camel, rabbit, pork
What are some diseases linked with pork consumption?

They are bottom feeders and filter feeders

What did EGW advise about snacking?
Skip the snacks and allow the stomach to rest
EGW advises to let the stomach rest at night. How would one do it and what is the result?
Eat a light dinner (or skip it), or have an early dinner. This helps one sleep better at night.
Does a person’s food craving indicate a nutrient difficiency?
No, appetite is not a safe guide. Wrong habits of eating ruins our appetite and due to this, our body demands unhealthy choices of food. We should not follow the unhealthy practice of society for our diet.
Who was Dr. John Harvey Kellogg. What was his contribution to healthcare? To what did he attribute his amazing success?
Kellogg was a health reformer who established sanitariums that helped the Adventist health message to be known. He listened to EGW to “stay 5 years ahead”
What is antibiotic resistance? Why are they given to health animals?
Overuse of antibiotics creates drug-resistant strains of bacteria, which means they are no longer effective. They are given to healthy animals to (1) make them grow faster and (2) makeup for unsanitary growing conditions
