Paint safety
Make sure any space being painted is well ventilated brushes and rollers should be cleaned outside of the building with suitable solvent, and never allowed to soak in a container. All used rags should be put in the garbage away from the building as wads of rags may heat up and under certain conditions ignite.
Window cleaning, safety
Many cities and provinces have a law preventing anyone under the age of 18 are over the age of 50 from cleaning windows above ground level window work should not be permitted when weather conditions are snowy, icy or windy
Ladder, safety
Examine the ladder for each use if broken or defective repair or replace it when using a ladder with spurs or spikes on concrete or hard, smooth floor use a piece of wood under the spikes. The base should be 1/4 of its length from the vertical surface when using on a window, make sure there is a crossmember long enough to spend the window opening from frame to frame so you aren’t leaning directly on the window of never paint a ladder
