International and national codes that Canada has adopted
CSA B51 and CSA B52  our national codes that I’ve been adopted be 51 is the boiler pressure, vessel and pressure piping code B 52 is mechanical refrigeration code. The international code that was adopted was the ASME CODE, WHICH IS THE AMERICAN society of mechanical engineers, and this code consists of 11 sections
ACI
Each jurisdiction in Canada has a chief inspector or equivalent this group of inspectors meets at least once a year, usually more often to talk about situations, they feel are important and relevant to power engineers, and the fulfillment of their duties and responsibilities
SOPEEC
Standardization of power engineer, examination committee, the answer to the ACI, and ensure that all power engineer examination meets the requirements, set by the jurisdiction of legislative body
IPECC
Interprovincial power engineering curriculum committee, all members of the association of chief, inspectors and standardization of power. Engineering examination committees are part of this group. Each class of power engineers has their own committee committee’s meat and decide on the continent of various courses in the criteria required to ensure a power engineer is properly qualified when a certificate of competency is issued.
Power engineers regulations
This is the most important legislation to a person, intending to make a power engineer a career choice. This regulation specifies the size of the facility. The holder can perform duties in and also list the penalties that can be dealt out, such as finds certificate, suspensions certificate, cancellations, and imprisonment.
ASME SECTION 1 and it’s 9 parts
 Section 1 is rules for construction of Power Boilers. There are nine parts part PG being general requirements for construction part. PW is for boilers fabricated by welding PWT water to boilers PFT requirements for fire to boilers. PFH requirements for feed water heaters PMB, nature boilers PEBS electric boilers, PVG organic fluid vaporizer generators 
ASME Section 7 and it’s 9 subsections
Recommended guidelines for the care of Power Boilers is section 7, and it is intended to promote safety in the use of Power Boilers and should be used by people who are directly responsible to operate, maintain and inspect Power Boilers
ASME SECTION 4 and the 4 parts
This section covers heating boilers, including steam, heating hot water, heating and hot water supply boilers that are classified as low pressure boilers part HG is general requirements for all methods of construction part. HF or HW is boilers. Fabricated by welding part. HC is boiler is constructed of cast-iron and part, HLWR for portable water heaters

How to remember ASME and CSA codes
CSA B 51 is the code for boiler and pressure piping. Remember this because he went through boilers first.
CSA B-52 is the code for mechanical, refrigeration remember this as refrigeration was later in the books
ASME code I and VII have to do with power boilers.
ASME code 4 and six have to do with heating boilers. Remember this as even numbers are heating boilers and odd numbers are power boilers. Two numbers are construction and safety related and the numbers six and seven are to do with care and operation section 8 of ASME is pressure vessels such as air compressor tanks
