Includes all the living and non-living things that affect life in an area
Examples: climate, land, water, plants, soil, animals
Region
An area with one or more features that make it different from surrounding areas
Resources
Materials found in the earth that people need and value
Values
Ideas that people hold dear and try to live by
Absolute Location
Relative Location
The exact latitude and longitude of a place
The location of a place relative to somewhere else
