Problem
The decline of circulation in all major newspapers = Two factors
1) Increase usage of internet (as a news source) ๐ฉโ๐ป
2) The advent of 24 hour news culture on T.V ๐บ
Result= many newspapers have tried to
migrate a portion of their services ๐
to digital models ๐ฒ (some successful than others)
Problem = newspapers heavily reliant on advertising for income ๐๐ต
= unable to command same level of payments from advertisers (who can find online hosts๐ฆ for their content ๐at a more competitive price)
