What is Canada’s Constitution?
It is the law that describes governance in Canada. The role of the Governor General and the different branches of government. It also sets out the charter of rights and freedoms

What does the cabinet do?
The cabinet puts laws and policies into action.
How do you become Prime Minister?
You must be elected as leader of a political party. Then you must be elected as an MP. And the party you lead must win the most seats in the House of Commons.
What do the people in the Cabinet do?
They include people who are responsible for different portfolios

The leading political party

What happens if you get cabinet approval on your idea?
Then you give it to the House of Commons as a bill.
What happens if your idea gets passed as a bill from the House of Commons?
Then the bill goes to the senate and then they debate on it.
