Q

Steps of Chapman’s Point Treatment

A
  1. Locate Chapman’s point
  2. Firm pressure with finger pad of one finger
  3. Apply somewhat heavy pressure to gangliform mass
  4. Slowly move tip of finger in circular direction (To flatten mass)
  5. Continue moving pressure 10-30 seconds, alternate clockwise/counterclockwise
  6. Cease when mass disappears or pt/physician can no longer tolerate treatment
