A response message from the PC/ATS is indicated by
Alarm alert tone and a beeping alert tone at the PC/ATS

The CLR/TEST performs the following functions
1 verifies that the touch screen is functioning properly by turning all borders red
2. Clears the selector panel if a button is erroneously pressed in eithe r the ID OR REPORTING STAGE OR BOTH
STops the audible beeping
If the red border surrounding the CLR/Test button remains a steady red this means
PC/ATS is oos and call star fire
NOTE . Steady red is no good
The HW has how many seconds to acknowledge a run on PC/ATS
20 seconds
NOTE no response in 20 sec dispatcher will prompt
All units in the same quarters can make themselves AQ simultaneously unless
- Units responded to different boxes
- Units did not go 10-8
- One Unit is relocated
If out on runs and multiple tickets on PC/ATS THEN you should
Check time out on tickets
Verbal alarms
Verbal ID on selector panel
Only use PC/ATS selector if verbal is within two blocks
Must follow by radio report upon leaving quarters indicating what they are responding too and location and if additional assistance required
If more than two blocks just respond and give info and location on radio
