Gets radio from 1st batt chief
2nd eng officer takes post radio and reports to the Vicinity of standpipe outlet from which the first line is being stretched
Upon arrival in floor below the fire 2 nd eng officer will contact ICP on command channel via post radio
Give location to ICP
2 nd eng off will them op on ht on tactical to inform units the com link is established with ICP
Communications relayed through 2nd eng officer
Maintain link until fire sector/ branch established
If first arriving batt is delayed and second due engine has already ascended to pure floors then what shall be done with respect to the post radio
Batt gives radio to member operating the fireman service elevator
Upon arrival 2 floors below the elevator op will contact 2nd engine officer
Second eng officer will ensure radio is obtained from member operating radio
