the developmental area refers to the idea that our behaviour may be learned (nurture) or may be innate (nature). in chaney, results show that the use of the funhaler was associated with improved parental and child compliance. this supports the developmental area as it illustrates another way in which childrens behaviour can be leanred, in this case by the use of rewards ( funhalers are rewarding to use which increased parental/child compliance)
