Chandelles Flashcards
1
Q
Purpose
A
develops the pilot’s coordination, orientation, planning, and accuracy of control during maximum performance flight.
2
Q
Selection of an Entry Altitude
A
- no lower than 1,500 AGL
3
Q
Proper correction for torque effect
A
- left turn encourages turn = counter with right rudder
- right turn discourages turn = counter with right rudder
4
Q
Max Performance
A
- pitch, too high = stall, too low = not enough altitude gain
- bank, too much = complete turn too early and less altitude gained/too little = slow down too much or stall
- power, less power = less altitude gained
- coordination, uncoordinated = more drag and decreased performance
