Tender erythematous papules that become pustules in 3-7 days post sex. They burst and produce ragged edge ulcer with purulent exudate
Soft painful ulcers can persist for months
Can get kissing ulcers
Half progress to buboes

Probably chancroid if what 4 criteria are met?

1) one or more painful ulcer
2) typical ulcer and lymphadenopathy of chancroid
3) no evidence of sts on dark ground or NAAT or sts serology at least 7/7 post ulcer
4) NAAT neg for HSV
