What is your ‘A-Language’/L1?
Your mother tongue, typically the language your parents speak
What is a source language?
the language that the original message is conveyed in
What is a target language?
the language that the original message is intended to be in

What is Transliteration
themessage going from the source language to be put into another variation of the source language

- 1 on 1 settings
- small group settings
- large group settings
Which is more accurate: Simultaneous or Consecutive interpreting?
Consecutive- Allows for time to fully interptret the goal/intent of the message
Which is easier for interpreters: Sign-to-Voice or Voice-to-Sign work?
It depends. But typically Voice-to-Sign unless the L2 was learned at a young age. It is typically easier for hearing interpreter to interpret from their L1 to theur L2
