Indications for Wen Li Ji (formulas taht warm interior, dispel cold)?
- Interior cold syndrome, including deficiency cold in middle jiao, Yin excess and Yang declining, yang collapse, cold stagnation in meridian
- Major symptoms: chills, no fever, preferring warmth, bland mouth, no thirst, profuse clear urine, pale tongue, white coating, deep slow pulse
Precautions for Wen Li Ji?
- Contraindicated to excessive heat, yin xu, loss of blood, summer time
- Often used in combination with herbs that tonify yang

- cough with thin phlegm
