Difference between SRAM and DRAM (3)
Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) does not need its data to be periodically refreshed, while Dynamic Random Access Memory does require its data to be periodically refreshed.
SRAM is faster than DRAM, but usually soldered to motherboard.
DRAM is memory standard for main memory.

It is the slowest and most expensive memory type and can be identified by an E on the end of the module name.
