- ADS-C uses FANS 1/A+ via satellite to transmit position info to ATC replacing position reports and creates radar environment in remote airspace.
ADS-C is set to replace CPDLC
B is for broadcast
C is for Contract

- PDC uses an airline system as a median (ATC-Airline-Pilot) and requires a readback
- CPDLC-DCL is similar to DCL but requires crew to log-in first to establish ATC-Pilot CPDLC connection
