Vector-borne: spread by animals or insects (rabies, lyme disease, black plague)
Summarize postexposure management of exposure to patient blood or body fluids, including completing a postexposure report.

-Turn over pt care
-clean with soap + water. Rinse eyes for 20 min asap if exposed
-Activate infection control plan
-Exposure report timely
-Post exposure treatment if needed/possible
