10 द्विविधानीह भूतानि त्रसानि स्थावराणि च तरसानां त्रिविधा यॊनिरण्डस्वेदजरायुजाः
11 त्रसानां खलु सर्वेषां शरेष्ठा राजञ्जरायुजाः
जरायुजानां प्रवरा मानवाः पशवश्च ये
- dvividhānīha bhūtāni trasāni sthāvarāṇi ca tarasāṇām trividhā yoniraṇḍasvedajarāyujāḥ
- trasānām khalu sarveṣām śreṣṭha rājañjarāyujāḥ jarāyujānām pravarā mānavāḥ paśavaśca ye

- Creatures in this world are of two kinds, moving and stationary; among moving creatures there are three kinds – their origin is birth from an egg, from damp, or from a womb.
- Indeed, of all moving creatures, O King, the foremost are those born from a womb;
and among those born from a womb, the foremost are human beings and domestic animals.
