“I feel that I’m mature enough to handle more responsibility. Why aren’t my parents letting me have more privileges?”

Q

Explain the following diagram:

Total isolation——-> secrecy
Secrecy——> deception
Deception——>sin
Sin——>self-destruction

A

If you allow yourself to become isolated from the positive influence of other strong Christians, it will give Satan greater freedom to deceive you. Eventually, the result will be manifested in your actions—sin. While Satan wants to make you believe that you can and should handle all of your problems and temptations on your own, that’s not the way God made you. God made you to need other Christians form strength, encouragement, counsel, and prayer.
