catholicity of the Church
literally means “universal” in the sense of “according to the totality” or “in keeping with the whole.” The Church is catholic in the dual sense that it 1) possesses the fullness of the mens of salvation and 2) has been sent by Christ to the whole human race
apostolicity of the Church
the Church is founded on the apostles in that: 1) she remains built on the “foundation of the apostles,” 2) the Church keeps and hands on their teaching, 3) she continues to be taught, sancafied, and guided by their successors
Church
the name given the assembly of the People God has called together from the ends of the earth In Christian usage, the word Church has 3 meanings:the People that God gathers in the whole world; the local church; the liturgical assembly
Dogma
the revealed teachings of Christ proclaimed by the full extent of the exercise of the authority of the Church’s Magisterium. The faithful are obligated to believe the truths or dogmas contained in the divine Revelation and defined by he Magisterium
general judgment
preceded by the resurrection of the dead, coincident with the second coming of Christ in glory at the end of time, discloses good and evil, and reveals the meaning of salvation history and the providence of God by which justice has triumphed over evil
hierarchy
the apostles and their successor, the college of bishops, to whom Christ gave he authority to teach, sanctify, and rule the Church in his name
holiness
principally the attribute of God and the Church describing complete separation from the sphere of profane. Individual human beings may be holy dedicating themselves completely to God and the Church. Holiness is the perfection of charity.
infallibility of the Church
The gift of the Holy Spirit to the church whereby the pastors of the church the pope and the bishops in the union with him can definitely proclaimed adoption of a formal of for the believe of the faith and that is proclaimed is free from error
Magisterium
The living, teaching office of the church, whose task is to give authentic interpretation of the word of God, where it is written from (sacred Scripture) , Or in the form of tradition.
Particular judgment
The ternal retribution received by each so at the moment of death, in accordance with the person’s faith and works
pilgrimage
Journey to a sacred place undertaken as an active religious devotion; the purpose may be in to venerate a certain Seigner us some spiritual favor, beg for a physical cure or perform an active for tenants, or express thanks or to fulfill a promise
