What’s the difference between a medical diagnosis and a nursing diagnosis?
For example, medical diagnoses focus on the disease or pathology that affects the patient. In contrast, nursing diagnoses concentrate on the patient’s response to the illness or life circumstance, which can be either a physiological or psychological response.
What is the difference between a NANDA-I diagnosis from the ICNP diagnosis classification system?
While the NANDA classification represents a systematic structured body of nursing knowledge with regard to human health reactions patterns, the ICNP reflects a more comprehensive part of the nursing reality, since it also contains nursing interventions and outcomes
