Who was Karl Marx?

A
  • Born in Germany, 1818
  • To him French Rev. was the rise of the middle class
  • Class struggle, between that controls production and a class that provides the labour for production.
  • Called “capitalism”the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.”
  • He predicts b/c capitalism is an exploitive relationship it will result in another Rev. and replaced by socialism.
