What is the Industrial Revolution?

-It was an era of changes occurred in agriculture, textile, metal, transportation, economic polices and social structure.

Who was Karl Marx?
- Born in Germany, 1818
- To him French Rev. was the rise of the middle class
- Class struggle, between that controls production and a class that provides the labour for production.
- Called “capitalism”the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.”
- He predicts b/c capitalism is an exploitive relationship it will result in another Rev. and replaced by socialism.
