Emergence ME
- ME grew in USA out of the civil rights movement 1960’s
- aim was to eliminate discrimination
- attention was given to ethnic study courses (X solve problem of social inequality)
- ME gained favour in countries such as Canada, Britain + Australia
- in SA ME =way of improving, understanding+acceptance all races +cultures.
