Understand their intent message and try to figure out the meaning to each work (contextual factors).
What is Message Construction?
The speaker’s goal, context of the message being conveyed, the degree of directness desired, use of powerful/powerless speech, responsible language and the linguistic reader

Interpreters will use a variety of styles that reflects their personality, personal values, their culture, personal history, and relationship with the person present. Personal skills are also important.
How to be a more effective communicator?
By being aware of various cultural norms and expectations when attempting to achieve a specific communication goal.
What is a vital tool that a interpreter needs to develop?
You must develop a range of language skills in order to make appropriate interpreting choices.
The five linguistic regsiters:
Frozen, formal, consultative, informal/casual, and intimate. Being able to utilize all these tools can help you better interpret depending which situation you are in.
How does communicating work?
Communication happens between two or more individuals who may share cultural, experiential, and linguistic backgrounds, or may have nothing in common.
How are messages constructed?
The use speech/signs, affect nonverbal communicative elements. Also by being influenced on where they are (location) and what is the overall goal.
What is happening during the process of an interpreter listening to a message?
The interpreter takes the information, analyzes the source, and then conveys the overall goal/intent of the message.
What is communication?
Complex and imprecise, linked to culture which can influence how principles on how relationships are formed, constructed message, transactional (depending on where you are).
