The deficiency reporting system is used to identify the problem and whether it affects a publication or an MPC. There are three change types are?
a. Procedural vs. Nonprocedural
-A procedural change will affect the way in which a particular job is performed.
-A nonprocedural change refers to grammatical errors,
spelling errors, or illegible text or graphics.
b. Interval Change- An HOURLY or CALENDAR interval change can either increase or decrease the time between maintenance actions or affect the life limit for a given type
of aircraft equipment. In this case ONLY, select Yes for an interval change.
c. COMDT Change- A COMDT change will effect change within a Commandant Instruction Manual.
