Certified High Performance Coaching Flashcards
This is from the video included on the promotion page for CHPC.
What is Sarah looking for in a coach?
You’re looking for a coach who understands you. Who believes in what it is you dream, and who knows how to get you there in a way that’s fun and with a plan that’s clear, concise and proven to work.
You’re also looking for someone you can emulate – who lives out what they teach you. You look to be lead by example, not by words.
What’s the one key difference between a coaching session with you, a CHPC, and a session with most other coaches?
There’s one key difference between a coaching session with me, and a coaching session with most other coaches – I’m curriculum driven. Most other coaches are client driven.
Ex. With a “traditional” coaching session, what you can expect is:
A call that goes something like this, “Hey, so what are you working on this month? How’s it going? What’s getting in your way? Cool. Let’s talk through that.”
This is what I call “reactive” coaching. This is addressing the problem of the day, hoping that your coach can integrate a lesson and value.
But, that’s not the way great coaching works.
There’s nothing that qualifies me to be the queen of solutions for any problem that may arise in your life.
With High-Performance coaching, I come to the call with value already prepared for you, no matter the state of your mood and mind. No matter what problems arose that day.
That’s the difference between being curriculum driven and client driven.
What’s the difference between High Performance coaching and other coaching programs?
High Performance coaching is:
- Structured. It’s about taking you on a journey from where you are now to beyond where you want to be. This is done with a clear destination in mind, and precise pitstops taken along the way.
- Transformative. You and I work on more than your specific goals and instead look to create lasting change in your character, and the way you do life and business. Basically, this style of coaching builds you into better human-being overall.
I do this by helping you see major improvement within yourself. This translates into radical change in all areas of your life.
What is High-Performance coaching about?
High-Performance coaching is about helping you reach higher levels of performance and potential in all that you do, no matter your goals.
What makes you different than other coaches?
Outside of my fantastic personality (LOL), I feel a strong sense of responsibility to live out what I teach.
When you look at me, talk to me, spend time with me, my hope is that you desire to emulate the key foundations of my life.
I know what I’m doing.
I know how to help you.
You can trust that you’ll gain clarity and value each time we talk.
What makes High-Performance coaching better than other coaching programs? Give 4 examples.
- High-Performance coaching has the world’s most premium positioning within the coaching industry. The name, the brand and the process is very well-respected.
- We’re the Harvard of coaching certifications and do our craft at a world-class level – within our own lives and our clients.
- The process I’ll share with you throughout our 12 weeks together – you can depend on. It’s reliable. The system is reliable. The tools are reliable. I’m reliable.
- I was personally trained by the most sought after High-Performance coach in the world. He taught me what works and how to get you your best results.
Who is High-Performance coaching for?
It’s for you, the highly driven mama who’s ready to go to that next level in your life and do it in a way that’s fun, fast and proven to work.
What’s your definition of “coaching”? Give 2 examples.
- It’s about you, my client, and a process that is proven to help you reach your potential faster.
- Coaching is about the heart. It’s about me hearing what you have to say, truly absorbing your mission and desires and then holding myself accountable to do what I can to help you move along your journey.
What highly driven individuals have used this high-performance process?
So many have used this high-performance process. From super mom to super mogul – the spectrum is so wide.
High Performance coaching isn’t for everyone, but it is for you if you’re looking to create excellence in what it is you do.
What is the textbook definition of “High-Performance”?
Succeeding beyond standard norms consistently over the long-term.
Why did you become a High-Performance coach?
I became a High-Performance coach because I heard too often from other mamas, “I’ve lost myself.” There was this deep-seeded desire, and sometimes even desperation to rekindle their hopes that were now kept so secret within their role as a mama.
Even within my own experience I remember thinking, “Why do I have to give up all that I am, all that I dream to raise my sweet little bubbas? Why?”
Being the “I’ll choose what’s right for me.” type gal, I decided to live as I saw fit and not by the expectations of others.
I believe so strongly that the best way to lead is through example. That the best way to be a mama is to be yourself throughout mama-hood. I believe that you don’t have to give up your dreams until you’re an “empty nester” – you can live what you imagine NOW. You can be as happy and high achieving at home as you are in your business.
I don’t teach you how to be a better mama – you do an incredible job of that already. I teach you how to be a better YOU throughout mama-hood, because it’s the skills and the mindset to be you that’s missing – not the mama piece.
Learning how best to be you translates into being a better mama, a better wife, a better boss gal, a better you name it.
I help you go further than you have before—beyond the norm of your typical results and life experience.
I am here for you.
How do you teach someone High Performance?
You’re probably wondering, “Brie, how do you teach someone high-performance?”
- Let’s remember – High Performance is the ability to succeed beyond standard norms consistently over the long-term.
This means it’s a muscle to be built and exercised regularly. This means that anyone can develop it. Anyone can do it.
I help you do this by focusing in on six main areas of your life—psychology, physiology, productivity, people, purpose, and presence.
- You and I collaborate through 60 minute sessions, delivered either one-on-one on the phone.
- You’ll be asked deep questions and through your answers and our discussion, you’ll experience major breakthroughs. “Aha to Action”.
- Follow a proven plan to help you accelerate your growth.
What is the MAIN difference between a High-Performance Coach and a life coach?
Most life coaches are trained only to elicit your goals, then work with you to reach those goals.
The typical session with a life coach would go something like, “So what are you working on? What’s holding you back? Let’s talk that through.”
Unfortunately, this becomes repetitive for you (and very boring for high-achieving individuals).
High-Performance coaching is completely different. The larger outcome, even beyond any of your goals, is to help you reach higher performance in all areas of your life.
To achieve this, I ask you a set of specific questions that make each of our sessions unique.
Within each session there’s a training component, where I teach you a new habit, tool or concept that furthers your education and growth in the area we’re discussing.
In short, I work with a curriculum, a true roadmap for progress that allows you and I to consistently feel that each session is adding value to your life no matter your goal.
Why work with a High-Performance coach instead of a Life Coach? Part one.
(View this question as though a potential client is asking.)
Other coaching programs will fail you because they assume you’ll always be:
- Excited to talk
- Full of new updates
- Truthful about your challenges (no disrespect, just honesty)
- Patient with your coach
- Open to all alternative views
Simply put, you can see why they fail.
Why work with a High-Performance coach instead of a Life Coach? Part two.
(View this question as though a potential client is asking.)
You would gain more benefits working with me than a Life Coach because most of their programs fail due to a lack of curriculum or process.
People have bad days. You do. I do, too. But what always works is a process, a system already proven to get you results.
As we work together, I’ll guide you through questions and give you practical tools I already know work. You don’t get that with life coaching.
As we work together, we stay focused on keeping the main thing, the main thing, without become distracted by day-to-day challenges. You don’t get that with life coaching.
You’ll love this because on days when you have little to report—maybe you didn’t take action the week before (‘cause no-one’s perfect, wink wink) , maybe you’re tired, maybe you just had a hard day — you can count on me to steer you towards new habits of growth every single time we get together. Every. Single. Time.
