what are the causes of cerebellar syndrome?

A

vascular - stroke
inflammatory - MS
infectious - lyme disease
trauma to the posterior fossa
metabolic - alcoholism
iatrogenic - phenytoin and carbamazepine
neoplasm - primary (cerebellopontine angle , acoustic neuroma) secondary (breast, lung)
congenital/hereditary - Fredrich’s ataxia, spinocerebellar ataxias
