Binds to PBPs, inhibits crosslinking of peptidoglycan strands.

3rd Generation
- Ceftriaxone (4x normal dose).

Cephalosporins ADR (7):
- Hypersensitivity reaction.
- Bleeding.
- Cefamandole and cefoperazone.
- Disulfiram-like intolerance (alcohol).
- Diarrhea.
- Pseudomembranous colitis.
- Interstitial nephritis.
- Serum sickness (cefaclor).
