They were Pagan (multi-gods)

They were very warlike and loved war. They were also great scrappers and had a ver threatening appearance.

The Druids
What kind of tribal system did the Celts have?
They lived in small groups called ‘clans’ which were usually made of different family groups and had between 20 and 100 people
What kind of political system did the Celts have?
They were quite democratic and they elected the leaders of their clans called chieftains
Were the Celts seafaring?
Yes
What kind of monetary system did the Celts have?
They traded and bartered with other surrounding clans
Where did the celts live?
They originated in central and Western Europe (France and Germany area) but they then migrated to the British Isles and were then pushed to the Atlantic Fringes
What was the social structure of the Celts?
Druids, then Nobles, then Artisans, then Peasants or Farmers, then Slaves, then Outlaws
