Q

What does the cell membrane of a cell do?

A

Controls entry and exit of substances for the cell

17
Q

What do the ribosomes of a cell do?

Think about sites..

A

It’s the site of protein sysnthesis.

18
Q

What do the chloroplasts in plant cells do?

A

Absorb light energy to make food.

19
Q

Go to Kahoot!!!

A
20
Q

What is an organelle?

A

A small structure that has a function in a cell.

21
Q

What does it mean to ejaculate?

A

It means to eject sperm out of the penis.

22
Q

What does the vacuole of a cell do?

A

Helps to remove waste.

23
Q

What do red blood cells do?

A

Carry oxygen around the body for respiration. They have no nucleus which provides more space to carry oxygen.

24
Q

What do nerve cells do?

A

Transmit electrical signals around the body at rapid speeds. They are thin and long, and have branched connections at the end so that it can join to another one.

25
Q

What do muscle cells do?

A

They contract and retract which allows us to move our muscles. If we didn’t have muscle, cells , the heart would not be able to function.

26
Q

What do cilated cells do?

A

Helps to move unwanted substances. They have tiny hairs on them called cilia to move things. If you have mucus in your airways, the cilia will help to clear it.
